With 20 years of Contingent, Contract and Executive Recruitment experience in London, New York and Los Angeles, there isn’t a talent acquisition challenge that Chay hasn’t encountered.

With a BSc in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London, his interests were geared towards Social Psychology and Organizational Psychology; how teams and cohesive cultures are built. Initially working in Investment Banking Trading Technology in London, he was building technical consulting teams for the leading Trading platforms until he moved to New York in 2015.

Soon after his move to New York in 2015, Chay launched a Private Equity and Venture Capital recruitment desk at an international Energy and Infrastructure company. With his sights on Investment Platforms with Renewable Energy and Clean Tech specialisms, Chay built a team not only placing investment professionals at all levels, but also working with Portfolio Companies on Executive and Strategic searches. Chay progressed to managing the New York Permanent Recruitment team adding Engineering, Construction, Power Generation and Renewables teams.

In 2020 Chay made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles, California as the opportunity to specialize in Life Sciences arose. This gave Chay the opportunity to delve into a number of subsectors that he was deeply passionate about,
